These are some commonly asked questions by new patients concerning our office and our procedures. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us during office hours.

 

When is the office open?

Monday through Friday: 10 am to 7 pm; Saturday: 10 am to 6 pm; Sunday: Office Closed. Clients are seen Monday through Saturday. Please call the office at (310) 473-7474 for specific appointment availability.

 

Can I get an appointment in the same day or week?

Yes, it is possible to be seen quickly by one of our practitioners. However, we see clients by appointment. It is best to contact our front desk at (310) 473-7474 for specific appointment availability.

 

What is the cost for acupuncture?

The cost varies depending on the specifics of the issue and insurance coverage. Please contact the front desk at (310) 473-7474 for more information.

 

How often do I need to come in for acupuncture treatment?

The number of times you will come in for acupuncture treatments will depend on your specific situation. After you are seen by one of our competent practitioners, she/he will recommend a treatment plan for the future.

 

Does my insurance cover for acupuncture?

Every insurance policy has different benefits that are covered. Not all policies cover acupuncture or pay the same amount. The quickest way to find out if acupuncture is covered is to contact your member services and specifically ask if out-of-network acupuncture is covered under your plan. We can also check into your benefits as well. You can send us a message or call us at (310) 473-7474 during business hours.

 

Do you accept MediCare/MediCal?

We accept all insurance policies. However, at this time MediCare/MediCal will not pay for acupuncture performed by a Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist. However, we do offer discounted rates for MediCare/MediCal patients.

 

Does your office accept insurance?

Yes, we accept all insurance policies. But generally it is only PPO policies that will cover for out-of-network acupuncture services.

 

Does my insurance cover for massage?

Depends, every insurance policy has different benefits that are covered. However, some policies will cover for massage. You can contact your member services to ask if they cover massage under your policy.

 

I cannot leave the house for treatment; do your Acupuncturists provide care outside of the office?

Yes, we offer house call services. Please contact the front desk at (310) 473-7474 during business hours for more information and/or to schedule a time.

 

I have an upcoming IVF/FET procedure coming up. Do your Acupuncturists go to the facility to provide acupuncture?

Yes, we are happy to go to your fertility doctor’s office on the day of your transfer. We are generally available 6 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week. Please contact the front desk at (310) 473-7474 during business hours for more information and/or to schedule a time.

 

Is there parking near your offices?

Yes, there is a parking garage attached to the south side of the building. They charge $1.50 per 30 minutes. We do not validate parking at this time. There is also unmetered and metered street parking. You should allow at least 10-15 minutes to find street parking.
